Training Event: Cloud Infrastructure presented by Dr N. Loulloudes

The Laboratory for Internet Computing hosts a large HPC infrastructure that supports research activities of both members, external collaborators and affiliated scientific consortia. This talk will focus on the recent efforts of the lab to establish a resilient OpenStack-based Cloud infrastructure (Nephelae), the architectural design, supporting DevOps technologies and best practices. Among others, this talk will discuss recent technology concepts such as: OpenStack, MaaS, Docker, LXC/LXD, LDAP, Chef.io, Nagios, VXLANs, NetApp, etc.
