The initiative will reduce software release time and provide a design and management tool.

The UNICORN project, co-financed by the European Union under the Horizon2020 Research and Innovation programme, brings together leading European research/academic institutions, industries and SMEs in the field of cloud and software technologies, which are meeting in Cyprus on the 1-2 June.

The project team, formed of experienced specialists in a wide variety of areas, seeks to achieve one common goal: make cloud services easier for SMEs and startups! While the first day of their meeting is scheduled for the Plenary Session, the second one will also focus on technical topics and practical workshops: besides an overview of the project goals and concepts, the event will include some talks and practical exercises on innovative areas such as cloud management, code and online communication.

In fact, UNICORN is also on the track to promote its achievements and disseminate them Europewide with a newly developed Roadmap that will be discussed in a meeting as well.

How will this project make multi-cloud software more accesible for entrepreneurs? The project is going to simplify the design, deployment and management of multi-cloud services for SMEs. Besides, it will offer a better security in this kind of platforms.

The innovation activities will be based upon existing solutions and developments to the largest possible extent.

More details on the project can be found at UNICORN website
