The eScience-CY project was funded by the Research Promotion Foundation of Cyprus under the 2003-2005 National Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development. The project's main objectives have been completed successfully. The infrastructure has been deployed and user applications have been installed and executed. More specifically we have completed the following activities:

• deployment of the infrastructure
• functionality has been tested and verified
• administration and operation training
• Grid middleware has been installed and and tested. Applications from physics, chemistry and health sciences have been selected and implemented. Well defined methods are used in application upgrades that satisfy the need for safety and security
